Functions (AHL)
The HL extension of Topic 2, complete: the factor and remainder theorems with Vieta's sum and product of roots, rational functions with oblique asymptotes, odd and even functions, inverses with domain restriction and self-inverse functions, polynomial and rational inequalities, and the modulus family |f(x)|, f(|x|), 1/f(x) — every subtopic code from AHL 2.12 to AHL 2.16.
Builds on
SL Topic 2 end to end — the function machine, quadratics, SL rationals, and the transformation grammar. HL sharpens each into exam chains: divide, restrict, sign-analyse, fold.
