Geometry & Trigonometry (AHL)

The HL extension of Topic 3, complete: the reciprocal ratios sec, csc and cot with their two Pythagorean identities, the inverse trigonometric functions and their restricted ranges, compound and double angle identities, the symmetry relationships that turn one solution into all of them, and then the entire vector toolkit — components and magnitude, the scalar product, vector equations of lines, the parallel/intersecting/skew classification, the vector product with its areas, and planes with their intersections and angles. Every subtopic code from AHL 3.9 to AHL 3.18.

Builds on

SL Topic 3 end to end — the unit circle, exact values, the Pythagorean identity, the sine and cosine rules, and 3D distances in a solid. HL adds a second dimension of machinery: identities that manipulate angles algebraically, and vectors that handle 3D geometry without a single diagram.
