The HL extension of Topic 1, complete: permutations and the extended binomial theorem, partial fractions, complex numbers from Cartesian form through Euler form to De Moivre's powers and roots, proof by induction and contradiction, and 3×3 systems with parameter cases — every subtopic code from AHL 1.10 to AHL 1.16.

The WHOLE of SL Topic 1 (sequences, exponents, logarithms, the binomial theorem) — work it first in the SL course. HL problems here chain two or three of those ideas per question, at Paper 1 pace.
